Baltimore Glory - Month Nine: The Cornucopia of Flowers

Month Nine of Baltimore Glory provides the pattern for The Cornucopia of Flowers block.  The block is 15 inches square (finished size).  Sue loved inserting little red-seeded pods into this block and also using two-color rosebuds; it is part of Sue's penchant for inserting something unique in each block when possible.  

This block-of-the-month has ten parts; the first nine patterns are each for a different album block and the tenth pattern provides instructions on setting the blocks and assembling the quilt top.  The patterns for the blocks each contain guidance for pre-work, off-unit applique, illustrated order-of-applique, embellishment, and alternatives that can either simplify or "dress up" your quilt.

Baltimore Glory, when finished, measures 87-1/2 inches square.
